City of Fitchburg Mayor, proudly endorse Kierstin Huelsemann, Dane County Supervisor for District 27, Representing Fitchburg, for re-election. Kierstin is a very active supervisor and great partner representing our City on the Dane County Board. She was instrumental in securing one million dollars for the Fitchburg Teen Center and addressing our city challenges at the Board level.

In her first term on the County Board, Kierstin has been a force for good through collaboration, inclusion, and transparency. She proactively leveraged county resources to support the City of Fitchburg in the development of a future teen center, created space for residents with lived experience on county committees, and has spoken up for mental health services.

I am proud to endorse Kierstin Huelsemann for re-election for District 27 County Supervisor. Her priorities for affordable housing, health and human services, DEI and working to improve our district is an asset that benefits Dane County as a whole. Her dedication to advocate for more transparent government and county collaboration with cities like Fitchburg needs to continue on the County Board.

Kierstin Huelsemann has done an outstanding job as Dane County Supervisor, District 27, brining a wealth of personal experiences and profound commitment to diversity, equity, and justice. Kierstin advocates for clean and open government, especially for those most impacted by racial and economic injustice. Her own experience with financial and housing insecurity connects her to the challenges faced by Fitchburg and County residents and her leadership is evident in her support for establishing Dane County as a sanctuary for transgender and nonbinary individuals. Kierstin is poised to build effective coalitions to address the challenges facing Dane County. Kierstin is the right candidate to be the next County Supervisor for District 27. She will be a true progressive representative in leading the efforts supporting affordable housing initiatives, advocating for racial justice and LGBTQ+ rights. Kierstin will bring her lived experiences and values to the county to champion the potential and power of all our communities.

Supervisor Huelsemann has been standing up for her community on the Dane County Board. She already has an impressive record and I know she will continue to be invested in the future of our county.

Kierstin Huelsemann has been an effective leader during her first term on the County Board. She has worked to center equity in decisions and brought support for increases to the affordable housing fund, youth programing, and criminal justice reform. She will continue to be an effective representative for District 27 and Dane County as a whole.

Kierstin has been a leader on criminal justice reform and youth issues in her first term. She digs in, learns the issues, and collaborates with others to get things done. Thanks to her work, we now have people with lived experience of incarceration on the Community Justice Council, increased funding for youth centers, and a capital commitment for a new Fitchburg Teen Center.

I am proud to endorse Kierstin Huelsemann for re-election for Dane County Supervisor of District 27. I believe the perspective she brings as a working class parent who has faced challenges of affording housing, accessing services, and having to advocate for herself and her family has been an asset on the County Board. Her work to invest in communities through affordable housing, human services, behavioral health and youth programing needs to continue on the board.

Kierstin is committed to the betterment of her district and the county at large. She is a fearless advocate for people's rights and protections and works tirelessly to better the daily lives of each of us here in Dane. Kierstin's passion for youth inspires me to do more each day with that mission as well. I am grateful Kierstin is seeking another term with the same tenacity and drive as her first time. I know you will be grateful too.
